The Rays and Red Sox game was delayed yesterday afternoon due to one of the worst sounds you can hear through a sound system, a high pitched squeal.
The high-pitched buzzing sound at the Rays-Red Sox game was caused by an issue with the ballpark’s PA system, according to TMZ. The sound was described as a mix between a whistle and nails on a chalkboard, and it was so loud and irritating that it briefly paused the game.
Eventually, the sound was resolved, and the game continued with fans cheering.
See if you can sit through it, below.
