Three brothers in California just found a $6 million Superman comic in their mom’s attic.

Man, I love stories like this. Finding a $6 million comic book in your mom’s attic is the ultimate “Are you kidding me?” moment.

It’s the kind of thing that gets me wondering what’s hiding in our attics, old concert shirts, band posters, ticket stubs, maybe that KISS lunchbox you thought was long gone.

A copy of Action Comics No. 1 sold for $6 million last year, while a Superman No. 1 went for $5.3 million in 2022.

Experts believe the newly discovered issue, graded 9.0 by evaluators CGC for its sharp corners, bright colors, and near-perfect spine, could surpass both.

If I found something like this, I’d probably keep it just long enough to take a selfie holding it… then hand it to Sotheby’s before my kids use it as a coloring book.
