If you could time travel back to any concert in history, which concert would you attend? Ps. You also get an All-Access pass.

I get to ask such a fun question thanks to Janelle Monae, a Grammy nominated singer, rapper, producer, and actor.

During a conversation for Rolling Stone’s Musicians on Musicians series, Janelle Monáe said she had traveled back in time to watch David Bowie, “I traveled back into the 1970s and I saw him do Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, and it was incredible.”

“You traveled back…?” asked interviewer, Lucy Dacus.

Then Monáe, with out skipping a beat, responded, “Yeah, I was backstage… and so I jetted back to the 2000s.”

Sooo anyway if you could go back in time which show would you go to?

I would journey back to April 14, 1963, and check out The Rolling Stones at the Crawdaddy in Richmond England. That night, The Beatles first saw The Rolling Stones perform and met the band for the first time after their set. I’d use my all-access pass to just linger and listen.
