There have been times when REAL news that breaks on April 1st gets dismissed as an April Fools’ Day prank. Examples include: The murder of Marvin Gaye in 1984 . . . the murder of Selena in 1995 . . . the death of Mitch Hedberg in 2005 . . . and the cancellation of “Guiding Light” in 2009.

The highest point in Connecticut is on a mountain called Mount Frissell. But it’s not even the peak of the mountain beacuase that’s across the border in Massachusetts.
