Trans-Siberian Orchestra cancels 2020 tour due to coronavirus pandemic

It’s not Christmas until you hear the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s take on classic carols. This year, however, you’re going to have to settle for streaming or, YouTube.

The group announced recently that the annual holiday tour will not happen, citing “the interest of public health and safety.”

Trans-Siberian Orchestra said they will resume touring when it is safe to do so.

Last year, the East and West Coast variations of the orchestras visited 66 cities over seven weeks, Forbes reported.

The shows grossed $46.8 million and sold 706,000 tickets between Dec. 1 and 30, 2019, according to Billboard.
