Jeff Keith Scored the Gig Singing for Tesla Basically Through a Karaoke Contest

Jeff Keith was an FFA guy who started driving trucks after high school. But a chance singing contest, an early version of karaoke I think, got him a chance to sing with Brian and Frank in the band City Kidd, and Tesla was born.

See them live in March on Bret Michaels Live & Amplified tour, and again in August on Motley Crue’s 2026 Carnival of Sins tour with Extreme.
