Billy Idol Stole His Own Master Tapes To Rebel Yell And Gave Them To His heroin Dealer In The 80's

A YouTube channel called @uDiscoverMusic has a quirky animated series about music and rock stars called Beyond The Bus. Beyond The Bus is an animated series narrated by the musicians themselves, telling the craziest stories they’ve had throughout their career. And in this episode Billy Idol tells the story of why he stole his own master tapes to Rebel Yell from his record company and gave them to his heroin dealer.

There’s also an episode where Billy explains why they’re including his 40 year old cover of Rose Royce’s Love Don’t Live Here Anymore on the re-release of Rebel Yell, and why he didn’t release it in the 80′s.
