Def Leppard’s Phil Collen Says He’s “Really Confident” The Stadium Tour Will Happen

The Stadium Tour was set to be one of the biggest multi-band concert tours of the 2020 touring season, but as we all know by now, everything was cancelled and the world put on hold for a bit. Now Def Leppard’s Phil Collen says he’s “really confident” that the Stadium Tour will happen this year after being one of the first large concert tours of 2020 to postpone, and then reschedule, its entire run of dates due to the covid-19 pandemic.

Phil was speaking to the Jeremy White Podcast, a Canadian broadcaster, when he stated that if they roll out the vaccine in time, the tour should be able to go off as planned. His full quote is this:

“I’m really confident, if they get the vaccine rolled out. It’s the same way anywhere around the world. You go, ‘Hey, are you coming to so and so?’ Well, I don’t know if we’re allowed to travel and whether we would be allowed on the plane or even in that country. So, it’s looking good — or not. We really don’t know. It really comes down to how everyone deals with approaching this pandemic and stuff.”

Well I guess maybe that’s a positive outlook? I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a return to large stadium filling band explosions that rock your face all the way off for the whole night.

Here is the lineup of all the rescheduled dates.
