With the second anniversary of Eddie Van Halen’s passing coming October 6th, 2022 we spent some time speaking with Paul Brannigan, the author of “Unchained: The Eddie Van Halen Story”.
The book is truly a family story.
It covers from Eddie and Alex’s parents to Eddie’s son and Van Halen member, Wolfgang Van Halen.
The book covers Eddie’s life and while it is informative it never becomes exploitative.
We spoke with Paul about when he decided to write the book and how he made his decisions of what should be in the book and what shouldn’t.
