Thieves Are Stealing Cars By Leaving Cash On The Windshield

Sadly thieves will constantly come up with new ways to steal stuff. This one was reported by a Georgia county Sheriff’s office, and it involves putting cash on your windshield. According to the report I read they will put cash under your windshield, often a large bill like a $100! Now, these are thieves so the money is almost always fake anyway. But how it works is that they put money under your wiper so that you notice it hopefully after you’ve gotten in your car and started it. Then once you see the money and get out of your car to grab it, they run up and jump in your already open and running car and take off. So as always, be aware of your surroundings especially in parking garages, and on the streets, and look around you for anything out of place. Especially cash under your windshield wiper because who would leave you money for nothing? Definitely not Dire Straits...
