A new place to play in the sun is headed to the Tampa Bay area. Peak Surf Park is a multi-awesome park that promises super high quality waves for every level of surfer in an enormous wave pool. The park claims you’ll have perfect long rides every wave, every time. It uses a huge round metal unit in the center of the pool that hydraulically bounces up and down to create the waves that then radiate out from the pool’s center to the edges, so multiple wave riders can surf different size waves in different parts of the pool all at the same time. Check out this video where you can see it in action.

But its also has a half-mile long beach with cabanas, restaurants, and bars, plus a live stage for concerts and events, a skate park, a bike park, a climbing wall, and a ton more. No open date is set yet but you can see park renderings at this link.
