Last year I went to my first really BIG airshow at MacDill AFB in Tampa, and I absolutely love these shows! I’ve been to some smaller ones and even flown on a B-17 before, which was awesome and a little scary-as-hell too. So I’m super excited about this year’s Sun N’ Fun Fly-In annual airshow in Lakeland. I don’t know the full lineup but 2 of the biggest planes in the world, the C-17 and for the first time ever the C-5, have been confirmed to be there this year:
Well, this news may not technically be as big as the announcement that a C-5 is coming to #SNF23, but a C-17 is pretty big too!

Though known officially as the Globemaster III, the C-17 also has an "unofficial" nickname in the Air Force. Do you know what it is?

The C-5 is also the biggest airplane in the USAF’s line-up, so this thing is an absolute unit! If you just look at the rear landing gear you see that the C-17 has 8 rear wheels, and the C-5 has 8 wheels on each side!
In case you missed the BIG news, the C-5M Super Galaxy will be here at #SNF23 for the first time ever! This strategic transport aircraft is the largest aircraft in the Air Force inventory. Have you ever seen one in person before? pic.twitter.com/WaXEUxZtqX
