New Music From Def Leppard In 2021?

Phil Collen surprises teens Phil Collen of Def Leppard performs onstage in 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In a recent interview with Sweetwater.com, Def Leppard’s guitarist Phil Collen talked about songwriting and arranging, layering guitars and vocals, working with producer Robert “Mutt” Lange, and Def Leppard’s “Hysteria” album. When asked about upcoming projects he said, “We’ve (Def Leppard) got some dates booked this year, but it all depends on the vaccine — if they even open the places up; that’s what we’re waiting on. So we’re booked. We’re good to go. We’re ready to go. I’m at fighting weight. Everything is really cool.”...“I’m writing with different people, writing with Joe (Elliott, Def Leppard lead singer). We’ve been doing some really killer stuff. And the band is always forward-moving.” Check out the full interview.

The postponed “The Stadium Tour” is now scheduled to kick off on June 19, 2021 in Nashville, Tennessee and ends on September 12, 2021 in San Diego, California.

No word if we will get the new “killer stuff” that Def Lep’ has been working on this year, but we’ll keep you up to date!
