Sending Good Vibes to Quiet Riot’s Frankie Banali in the ER, but not from COVID

Frankie Banali, the drummer for Quiet Riot, one of the greatest 80’s metal bands, has been battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer for awhile now. Just the other day he posted to his Facebook that he had been admitted to the ER again.

JUST ADMITTED TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AT KAISER... IT OCCURED TO ME THAT THIS IS JUST LIKE DISNEYLAND EXCEPT THE LINES ARE SHORTER & THE RIDES ARE PAINFULLY SLOW... AND THE PRICE OF ADMISSION... OMG!

Thankfully he's doing great and its just an infection, but not Covid-19, nor is he losing his battle with cancer. That's all great news and we hope he recovers soon because he's got a July 4th Quiet Riot concert planned at a water park in Arkansas. And if you're going to that show make sure you keep way more than 6 feet away from Frankie, he's got cancer and doesn't need you coughing on his drum kit.

Until then let’s all send Frankie good vibes and making sure he can feel our noize!
