If you spent any of your youth growing up in the early 90′s, then more than likely Beavis And Butt-Head were a part of your life. The original show, based off a Mike Judge short from MTV’s Liquid Television in 1992, launched in 1993 and, for better or worse, changed American culture in a lot of ways. This show was almost solely responsible for Rob Zombie’s first band White Zombie getting popular, along with many other hard rock and metal bands of the time, since half of the show was Beavis and Butt-Head sitting on their couch watching metal videos, and anytime anything hard and heavy came on, they would exclaim ‘YES! YES!’. And that’s how lots of early metal fans discovered some new bands. I was one of those couch potato metal fans in the 90′s too.

I love that dumb damn show. I’m pretty sure I’ve watched every episode from 1993 to 1997, including the re-launched season in 2011. And of course their big screen movie debut, Beavis And Butt-Head Do America. And now they’re back again! They have a new movie that launches on Paramount+ June 23rd aptly titled Beavis And Butt-Head Do The Universe. You can also stream their first movie, and all the original episodes on Paramount+, too.
