On Friday the 13th, March 13th 2020, Dennis DeYoung took some time to speak to me about his new album “26 East Volume 1”.

Currently the album is scheduled to be released on April 10th 2020.

We discussed Dennis’s literary references that not only were part of his work with Styx but that also show up in  the songs on this new album as well.

Dennis spoke about how he intended this to be his last album but that the number of songs suggested it should be more.

Hence the “Volume 1” with a “Volume 2” to come.

Dennis was kind enough to spend a good bit of time discussing the album, things happening in current events and a lot more.
