On November 1st 1994 Tom Petty released his album “Wildflowers”.

Both critics and fans loved the album.

Tom had originally intended it to be a double album.

In the years after it’s release Tom had often spoken about releasing it as he had originally intended.

Unfortunately we lost Tom before he was able to do that.

After Petty’s passing there was discussion about the release again as his family and band mates looked through the vaults of unreleased music.

The good news is that “Wildflowers And All The Rest” box set will be released on October 16th 2020.

According to TomPetty.com there will be vinyl, CD and digital downloads of this set ranging from 2 CD’s to 9 LP’s.

There will be home recordings, live tracks and unreleased songs as well.
