At a recent Cult concert in Washington D.C., a fight broke out right in front of Ian Astbury. While the band was playing one of my favorites of theirs, Rain, Ian stops in the middle of a verse and ways ‘WHOA’ right before he jumps down into the front row to stop a fight between 2 fans. What started it is unclear, but at one point Ian is seen hugging one of the guys involved. Later when he’s back onstage he dresses down the other person involved saying “brother don’t ever put someone in a choke hold!”
