Collective Soul’s Dean Roland Called To Talk About The Tour, Album, And How Radio Launched The Band

Collective Soul (David Abbott)

Dean Roland, the guitarist for 90′s alt rock band Collective Soul, and brother to lead singer and guitarist Ed Roland, called in today ahead of their tour dates with Switchfoot to rehash the early days of the band, and talk about their new album Vibrating. I got an advance copy of the new album and if you’re a CS fan you’ll really dig it, I promise. 2 of my favorites off the album so far are Undone, and Reason. I dropped videos for Reason, the first track off the album Cut The Cord, and All Our Pieces after the interview for you to check out, and click through this link to buy the new record today!

And if you missed the band’s previous album Blood I dropped some videos from that record too.

Collective Soul and Switchfoot will roll through Florida in September on these dates:

September 13th in Jacksonville at the Florida Theater

14th in Clearwater at Ruth Eckerd Hall

16th in Orlando at the Hard Rock Live

17th Pompano Beach at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater

and the 18th in Tallahassee at the Tucker Civic Center
