Harder Than You Realize

A thread on AskReddit asked:

“What’s something people underestimate because it has a low barrier to entry but actually is very skillful?”

1.  Driving

2.  Substitute teaching.

3.  Starting and running a business . . . especially in the food industry.

4.  Fast food register worker, and even more-so for drive-thru . . . Someone said, “Have you ever been served by somebody who is actually good at it?  It’ll reinstall your faith in humanity.”

5.  Anything that involves dealing with a random bunch of people.

9.  Dancing.

10.  Singing.

11.  Public speaking.

12.  Photography - Especially over the past decade, as smartphone cameras have made a lot of people feel like pro photographers.

13.  Bagging groceries.

14.  “Casual” sports like golf and bowling.

15.  Hacky-sack.
