Phil Collins’ Ex-Wife Sold Some Of His Gold Records And Awards For Practically Nothing

And she claims to have more for another sale next month.

The nasty split between Phil Collins and his on again-off again (but probably now permanently off) ex-wife, Orianne Cevey, has gotten even uglier. I hate to dig into gossip and the private lives of celebrities because honestly I don’t really care about their private lives. They deserve privacy just like everyone else, so I try to avoid dirty laundry like this. Now you’re singing Don Henley aren’t you?

Anyway I’m only bringing this story up because I feel like something horrible is happening to one of our rock icons. While I obviously can’t confirm or deny any of the claims made by either side, if you read the signs I think you’ll see that clearly one of these 2 people is lashing out to hurt the other one for personal gain. And I don’t think Phil has anything he could gain from it, so to me it sure looks like his ex is out to smear him and sell his stuff.

According to TMZ: “We’re told Phil’s asked her to vacate and she’s refused, and instead is threatening to release false and embarrassing accusations about him unless he renegotiates their 2008 divorce settlement.”

And this is all AFTER he already paid her over $46 million!

Orianne claims Phil stopped showering or brushing his teeth completely for over a year sometime from 2019-2020. That alone sounds odd mainly because Phil was on his “Not Dead Yet” Tour from 2017 until October of 2019. Than he was in rehearsals with Genesis for their 2020 tour that was postponed until this year. So how could he have been an unclean hermit for a full year who didn’t bathe or leave the house in Miami, while also out on tour and rehearsing in England?

But what’s really bothering me about all of this is she recently held an auction where she sold some of her expensive jewelry and purses and clothes, but she also sold some of Phil’s awards and gold records and other collectibles that clearly weren’t hers. And sadly, much of it went for a steal!

Phil had at least 3 gold records that she sold. These were Robert Plant gold records for his albums “Pictures At Eleven” and “The Principle Of Moments” for Canadian and Australian sales, and were presented to Phil with his name engraved on the plaques, so I’m assuming they were some of his collectibles. Why else would he have Robert Plant gold records unless he was a fan and these were personal to him? Even sadder still is that the bidding started at only $100 for these! One of them sold for a measly $6k. She also sold some random small awards Phil had been given like when he sold out his Orlando show in 1994. Hopefully they went to a good home because that’s just stealing in my book. I don’t think she had any right to sell what was clearly Phil’s personal collection. You can see pics of Phil’s stuff before it sold at this link to the auction house.

And to add insult to injury, even though Orianne and Phil have been divorced for years, and she’s already remarried, she’s selling this stuff under the name Orianne Collins. Pretty rude to use his name to sell stuff that also belongs to him.
