Led Zeppelin has licensed their iconic song “Stairway To Heaven” for the trailer of the upcoming Narnia movie, “The Magician’s Nephew.” This marks a departure from the band’s usual reluctance to allow their music in Hollywood productions.
The Fast Times song was a legendary continuity error because they had already shot the movie, had Damone say “Whenever possible, play side 1 Led Zep 4″ and never planned on putting the song in the movie, because Led Zep never licensed their music. But Led Zep heard about the movie in production and offered up Kashmir, which shocked Cameron Crowe. They wouldn’t budge, it was Kashmir or nothing, so Fast Times took it, and never had Damone re-shoot his line.
