Metallica’s Kirk Hammett is the proud owner of a classic Gibson Les Paul guitar made famous by Fleetwood Mac’s Peter Green called “Greeny”. He also needs some strong caffeinated coffee every morning to get his super metal rock star butt in gear. So being an all around artist he looked for something inspirational he could do that combined both of those loves in his life. That’s when a local California coffee roasting company, the Muddy Waters Coffee Roasting Company, chimed in with an idea. Coffee inspired by both Peter Green and his guitar, and I’m sure a little Metallica inspiration too, the “Greeny Blues Blend”. Its supposed to be so good you’ll want to drink it black so I’m curious to try it because I need coffee every day, but I like my coffee to not really taste like coffee. Too many college years of instant crap kinda burned those taste buds off.
