Hungry Great White Shark Nibbled On A Tampa Woman’s Boat For Hours

To have a great white circling your boat for hours would be scary and awesome!

Erika Almond of St. Petersburg spends most of her free time fishing in the Gulf Of Mexico. She’s a huge ocean and fishing enthusiast, and even runs her own fishing gear and clothing store, Offshore Therapy.

Recently she was on her boat fishing when a great white shark decided to join their party. Its possible it was lured in by the bait in the water, or maybe it was just hungry and wanted to see if boats were food. They’re not.

But for some crazy reason this shark decided to hang around for close to 3 hours while they fished, and occasionally nibbled on parts of the boat including the hull and the motor. I’m clenching up just thinking about it. But it would still be so cool to be there for. Thankfully Erika, who was way cooler than I would have been, took a bunch of videos of the experience and shared them on her Facebook page for all of us to see too.

I would pay money I don’t have for an up close experience like this.
