I’m a big fan of late 70′s to 80′s music especially synth-pop and punk and those kinds of styles. So I’ve been a Gary Numan fan for years. And even though he hasn’t seen anything close to his 80′s popularity, he’s never stopped making music and even touring on occasion. His last record was “Savage: Songs From A Broken World” from 2017. This new album, “Intruder”, is said to be a companion album to the last one. HIs sound is still as iconic as always, deep science fiction dystopian sounds from some dark future. I would say this new track is very Nine Inch Nails sounding, but the truth is that Nine Inch Nails is very Gary Numan sounding of course.

Amazingly “Intruder” will be Gary’s 18th studio album! Pre-sales for the new album are already up, and the whole album drops May 21st, 2021.

Personally, however, my favorite Gary Numan song is “M.E.” from back in 1979.
