In March of 2020 Sammy Hagar and The Circle began their “Lockdown Sessions”.
The covered songs from The Who, Little Richard, Van Hagar and more.
They compiled the sessions into their new album “Lockdown 2020″.
The last song for their sessions was a cover of David Bowie’s “Heroes”.
When I spoke with The Circle’s drummer Jason Bonham, he mentioned how he had asked the guys to record “Heroes”.
The band has created an official video for “Heroes” that pays tribute to frontline workers, first responders and so many people who stood up with heroic acts.
