Ozzy’s newest single “It’s A Raid” premiered tonight on his official YouTube channel. The song’s title comes from the early 70′s when Sabbath was recording “Vol. 4″ in a Bel-Air mansion when Ozzy triggered the home’s security alarm which caused police to surround the home, which Ozzy admits had “piles of marijuana and cocaine.” Which is when Ozzy started shouting, ‘IT’S A F@CKIN’ RAIIIIID,” before hiding and or consuming all the drugs while also hiding in one of the home’s bathrooms. This is all according to the Oz man himself when he told the story during an interview at a listening party for his album “Ordinary Man”.
Here’s Ozzy’s Instagram post for the video premiere, and a public Q&A shortly before the video launched.
