Perry Farrell of Jane’s Addiction has joined with Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters, Elliot Easton of The Cars, and David Bryan of Bon Jovi for a project called Perry Farrell’s Kind Heaven Orchestra. Their new single, Mend, was just released. Its a spacy relaxed tripped out kind of track that sounds nothing like any of the bands any of the members are also in. I can’t describe it, really. But being a fan of all of these bands I wanted to check it out. Its weird, in a good way. But probably more of an acquired taste for many. Perry released a box set of his work that isn’t either Jane’s Addiction or Porno For Pyros called “The Glitz; The Glamour” you can get at his website and includes this single, and others by the same band.
