Queensryche fans get ready because Geoff Tate is coming to Tampa for “Empire’s” 30th anniversary. And he’ll perform both “Empire” and “Rage For Order” in their entirety which will make for at minimum a 2 hour show. And while Queensryche will quite possibly never reform for a full reunion tour, having a singer as recognizable as Geoff Tate performing will be as close as you can get to the original, in my opinion.
September 25th at the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre is the show date and its possible, although hard to tell, if we’ll be back to normal concerts by then. Tickets start at $29 and go up to $50 for the best seats.
If you’ve never been to the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre you can check out a really cool virtual tour here.
And rewind your mind 30 years to the greatness that was “Empire”.
