Late Night host and comedian Jimmy Fallon and guests will be appearing at The Tampa Theatre on Wednesday, October 16th!
In 1998 Jimmy Fallon joined the cast of SNL and with his knack for musical impressions and parody songs quickly became one of the stand-out comedians on the show. Movie roles, including Fever Pitch with Drew Barrymore followed, and in 2009 Fallon took over the reins of NBC’s Late Night. In less than two years on the air, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon ruled the time period in ratings, was praised by the critics and began collecting awards. This year NBC announced that Fallon would replace Jay Leno as host of The Tonight Show in 2014.
Joining Jimmy will be Julian McCullough, who has performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, NPR’s This American Life and starred in his own half hour special on Comedy Central. He can also be seen every Saturday as host of TBS’ Very Funny News. Nate Bargatze has recently appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and performed four times on Conan. He’s had his own special on Comedy Central and CMT multiple times. In 2010 he won both the New York’s Comedy Festival and Boston Comedy Festival. His first album, Yelled at by a Clown, was on the Billboard Top 10 Comedy charts for two weeks. Nick Thune’s absurdest view and deadpan wit combined with the soothing lull of his guitar, have distinguished his unique style of comedy. He has appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Conan and the Tonight Show numerous times. He’s had his own Comedy Central special and his debut album was included in Amazon.com’s Best of 2010 Comedy Album.
