Tickets to this event are free, but your presence is invaluable. We are at a turning point. On May 1, the County Commissioners may determine how many animals live and how many die. We need you now more. We will have Best Practices support people from around the state and around the country. They will speak and from 1-3pm, then between 3 & 4 we will have a live question and answer period, for those who would like to stay. Interact with the panel of some major players around the country and the state. Watch and listen to how Florida's 2nd No Kill Community does it and hear a summary of Hillsborough County new proposed plan, and how that teters on the edge and why May 1 is so important. We are the generation that has recognized that killing our animals is morally wrong and fiscally irresponsible. Will we be the ones that stop it? Or will we leave that to our children? The choice is ours. Now. The conference is being held in the Student Services Auditorium in the Student Services building. Its the two story red brick building on campus, tucked away on the northeast side. For a map, please click here.
