You and your four legged friends are welcome to join the 26th Annual Walk for the Animals!  Start the celebration early by collecting donations for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.  Donations provide shelter, food, spay/neuter services and medical care for the thousands of animals that are relinquished to their shelter each year.  Dedicated walkers and supporters helped raise nearly $80,000 at Bark in the Park 2012!

This year, there are several ways to be involved; Participate as an individual walker with your dog (or on your own) for just $25. Includes walk, post-party and t-shirt, Participate as an individual fundraiser. Create a free web page or use the Humane Society's printable form to raise money for the walk, Create a "Pack" and raise money with a team of freinds.

Pet Costume/Talent Contest - Does your pet have a top-ten talent or super cool costume? Enter him/her in the contest and let them strut their stuff! $5 entry fee day of event (limited to 100 participants). Categories include; Pet/Owner Look-A-Like, Most Talented, Best Costume.

Dogtown USA - Visit the doggone good neighborhood where you'll find something for everyone Areas include; Adorable Adoptables Corner, Canine Couture Mall, Canine Curves Agility Gym, Delights Food Court, Doggie Day Spa, Doggie Decor Craft Station... and much, much more!

Schedule of Events:

8:30 a.m. - Event begins - Registration, Pet Costume/Talent contest sign-up, and sponsor/vendor booth opens.

10:00 a.m. - Walk for the Animals - One mile walk around Al Lopez Park.

10:30 a.m. - Walk Party - Pet Costume/Talent Contest and activities will continue until noon.
