It is estimated that one in four women will experience some form of intimate abuse in their lifetime and over three women and one man are murdered each day by their intimate partners in the US (US bureau of Justice statistics). This course will provide an introduction to the history and dynamics of interpersonal, intimate violence and strategies for identification and assistance to survivors.
