Ian Beckles, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers playerOver 850 attendees gathered last year to support and celebrate survivor’s resiliency. The free event boasted collaborative community action to assemble more than 60 local service providers in an effort to educate and help victims of sexual and/or domestic violence and their families. The Men’s Pledge raised over $1,200 for the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay through the contributions of Gary Weisman, who sponsored $5.00 for every man who pledged to protect women and children in the community. CASA provided the Clothesline Project, hanging 1,000 articles of clothing so survivor’s in attendance could participate in the National program dedicated to giving them a voice.
