First-come, first-served will receive a free magnifying glass. Everyone will receive cards with blank spots to fill in with information about a plant’s leaves, stems, flowers and roots. We’ll have a sample grass, a sample flower, and a sample shrub or tree to practice on, to improve or learn the tiny differences that are often critical to identification. Join us to learn new skills to identify plants and broaden your vocabulary!Meetings of the Chapter are free, and all interested parties are invited to attend, to bring questions about their yard, and participate in light refreshments and the native plant drawing.
