This event SE13/95400 is sanctioned by the American Volkssport Association AVA, a member of the International Federation of Popular Sports IVV and counts towards acquisition of IVV achievement awards. Everyone is welcome to join the Greater Dade City Chamber of Commerce and Suncoast Sandpipers in a fun-filled, easy rated 1B 5K 3.1 mile or 10K 6.2 mile walk of historic Dade City and the Kumquat Festival. Walkers follow written directions, strolling on city streets and some unpaved trails. With route modification, strollers/wheelchairs are okay. There is a portable toilet at the start. Permanent rest rooms are on first part 3 blocks of walk. An adult must accompany children 12 and under. Leashed pets are permitted. There is no formal “A” award and no preregistration. Walk only fee is $2; walk with volkssport credit is $3. Kids 12 & under walk for free no credit. We can’t make refunds for any reason; walk is held rain or shine. This walk is eligible for America's Bakeries, Fraternal Organizations, and Honoring Law Enforcement programs.
