Austin Hoppers' Birthday is Jan 5 and ironically enough he will be laying in the same hospital that he was born at. Lets make this year special for Austin by showing our support and love. If you do not know him, please read either way. On Tuesday November 27, 2012 around 6:45 PM we all got the worst news possible that has completely changed our lives and outlook on life. We were told that Austin was in a terrible motorcycle accident which sent him to the highest trauma hospital in Pinellas County with life threatening injuries. Austin has major injuries to his back and doctors believe that he will never walk again. Those who are close to him know that he is strong, competitive, and that Austin has a way of beating the odds so everyday we pray and hope that a miracle will happen. Jonathan Bennette (Family member) wrote the following: Austin and his brother are both champion drivers both in cars and trucks. So the theme I chose for this fundraiser is "RACE AUSTIN HOME" help us get this young man on the road to recovery. Times are tough, money is tight and with Sandy just hitting the eastern seaboard donations are spent. But we are trying hard to get this much need fundraising effort off the ground. Get a wheelchair accessible vehicle and get funds for home modifications to accommodate his new "set of wheels" . Those are my main goals for the short term.
