The Florida Consumer Action Network is developing a Leadership Development and Training program for Legislative Session, Federal issue organizing and up-coming elections.  FCAN is looking for community partners that wish to work collaboratively to develop leaders though their own organizations and networks using Best Practices of local leadership, and learning about legislation and issues specific to each Legislative Session.  Our goal is to host a training:Before each legislative sessionAfter session for Federal and Local issue organizingBefore election seasonEach training will teach skills and educate activists on issuesAgreed upon by community leadersTimely to each session or electionBe taught by local experienced leadershipLeaders that participate will go back to their respective organizations with a new network of activists, with new important skills to utilize during session, and understanding the relevant issues.  New activists will be "recruited" into campaigns as to utilize their new skills and abilities.We would like you to be part of this new training in leadership development.  Please join us.
