SCUBA Camp is a week long adventure that provides NAUI SCUBA Certification to students ages 10-18. The curriculum is made to be fun and easy. Instructor and Staff supervision creates an opportunity for one-on-one instruction, and a small group atmosphere. Students will work in buddy groups, giving an opportunity to create close friends. Camp week includes three days of classroom and pool training and two days of open water diving. At the successful completion of the camp, students will receive NAUI Scuba Certification accepted worldwide. All equipment is included in the tuition for the camp, however students are encouraged to use their own gear if they have it. Students are required to bring towel, sun screen, lunch, and any personal items needed. Water, drinks, and snacks are provided during the week. Tuition: Regular Price $399   Early Registration $299 Daily Schedule: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday: Beach Day/Classroom / Pool Tuesday: Classroom / Pool Wednesday: Classroom / Pool Thursday: Certification Dives Friday: Certification Dives Training Locations Beach Day - Coquina Key on Bradenton Beach is used for beach day. This is a day of fun designed for the students to become aquainted, and for the instructional staff to observe the students in the aquatic environment. Weather permitting, students will learn to snorkel, perform their swim test, and spend the day enjoying the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Pool - the pool used for the scuba camps is located at the Brandon Sports and Aquatics Center. Certification Dives - Open water dives (certification dives) are required and generally occur on days four and five. Lake Denton, located in Avon Park, is used for the first two dives.
