50 Girl Orphans Displaced From Their Home in Cap Haitian, Haiti December 8, 2012, beginning at 5:30PM, The Roosevelt 2.0 located in Ybor City Tampa Florida will host a spirited concert series sponsored by Heart For Haiti Foundation, featuring local bands, speakers, Haitian Spirit Café Bondye Lanmou (God’s Love) Coffee, Café 22 Haitian foods and The Roosevelt’s own energy beverage bar inviting the public to contribute to transformation of these orphaned girls lives and moving them in to a new orphanage home. Bon Secours 50 Girl Orphans have been displaced from their quarters in Cap Haitian, Haiti recently, through no fault of their own. Foundation Bon Secours of Haiti orphanage administrators Roseline DeHart of For Haiti With Love Burn Clinic at Cap Haitian and her Haiti National Policeman husband, Racine Presume have joined together with Heart For Haiti Foundation located in Crystal Beach, FL in committing to these children through restoring them to a healthy safe and improved environment. Guy Buckmaster, founder and CEO of Heart For Haiti Foundation has brought together talented musicians of a wide genre to provide excelling entertainment beginning at 5:30PM and ending at midnight in the midst of the Ybor City Saturday nightlife typical partying atmosphere at 7th Avenue and 15th Street. Buckmaster states he believes the young adults of our area are motivated to extend a “hand-up” to help these poor orphaned girls regain a sense of dignity and opportunity. “My experience is that given the knowledge that your talent, your money and your prayers can provide sustainable help, our youthful adults do seek to contribute when they know their help does reach and lift other brothers and sisters,” said Buckmaster. “It has been such a rewarding opportunity to work with people to pull together this event. King James and his Sun Drummers, the bands, and the owners of The Roosevelt have all extended themselves to help,” Buckmaster exclaims. Leaders from around Tampa Bay, the Haitian Alliance of Tampa Bay, and students from local universities are expected in the turn out that will include Ybor City’s Saturday nightlife patrons. Compassion is good for the soul of Tampa.
